Women Against Waste events make it easy for you to:
swap & donate personal and household items
responsibly manage hard to recycle items
repair clothes you’d love to use but can’t
learn how to live consciously & waste free
… all while supporting local, national and international community groups and charities.
TO SWAP AND DONATE
At this event you can bring new and used:
Women clothes and accessories including bags, shoes, belts, scarves and jewellery
Children’s clothes, shoes and toys
School supplies: backpacks, stationery, children’s books - no textas please
Sports equipment: netball & rugby old uniforms, football boots & running shoes
Sewing materials including fabric, thread, scissors, needles
CDs, DVDs, games & puzzles
Hearing aids and prescription spectacles & sun glasses
Please ensure the items you bring are of good to excellent quality with no damage. Please limit what you bring to no more than 1 large garbage bag full.
All items left behind at the event will be allocated to the appropriate local, national, international charity or community group my event organisers.

Need help with a busted seam, hemming or other basic mending job? Our wonderful team of volunteers will give you a hand. Limit of 2 items per person.
Our Personal Stylist Kira from Style Me 5 Ways will be on-site answering your questions as you find new fashion treasures.

Foundry will be have a range of products to purchase which will help your household reduce waste.
